Happy Earth Day GSL………………….here’s to a great week of school.

Reminder the on April 26, 2024, school will be dismissed at 12:00 noon…..11:45 AM for Lakeside. This is for training for our staff. Thank you for your flexibility.

The City of Silver Lake just informed the school that the entire city will need to turn off the water at 10:00 AM tomorrow for repairs. They expect the water to be off for one hour. We will continue to have school as planned and take the necessary steps for all students and staff to prepare for the hour. FYI for you

Parents of grades 1-4…the Glencoe Police Department will be putting on the Bike Safety Rodeo again this year. The event will be Tuesday, May 14th from 5-7 PM in the north parking lot at the high school……look for a flyer coming soon with more information.

Best of Luck to our GSL FFA program as many students are competing in the state tournament over the next couple of days.

It is hard to believe that we are in the last full week of April…..with Prom happening this weekend, many concerts and events happening, the final days of school will certainly go fast. Let’s make it a great final month. Students, continue to be on time for school/class, get your work completed, be respectful to all, and most of all…..make sure you thank you parents for everything they do!
